The Bartec BCS 3600 NI is an ultra-rugged and intrinsically safe scanner. It’s available in a corded or cordless configuration, offering flexibility to users depending on their needs. This scanner is Class 1 Div 2 certified, allowing it to operate in hazardous areas.

The Bartec BCS 3600 NI is built to perform in a range of temperatures from -4 degrees F to 122 degrees F and survive up to 5,000 drops to concrete. The IP65 rating certifies that the scanner is fully sealed against dust ingress and protected from low-pressure water directed from any angle.

This rugged scanner is able to read 1D and 2D barcodes and OCR barcodes from 3 to 70ft away using Zebra’s high-performance SE4750 scan engine. Zebra’s 123 scan utility allows for easy programming and pairing to any mobile terminal.

The extreme durability, technology, and Class 1 Division 2 certification, along with the specification summarized above, put the Bartec BCS3600 NI scanner in a class of its own within the intrinsically safe vertical.
