Customers can also configure this 2-in-1 notebook with 8GB or 16GB of factory-installed DDR3 RAM. The TOUGHBOOK® 33 can be built with either a 512GB, 1 TB, or 2TB solid-state drive, including a heater. It also boasts hot-swappable batteries, allowing users to work a full workday without interruption.

Additional customizations include optional 4G LTE mobile broadband certified to Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. Users can also add a standalone u-Blox GPS, an insertable SmartCard CAC reader, a second USB port, or a fingerprint reader. The TOUGHBOOK 33 also has optional 5G.
