XG4 is Janam’s next-generation, gun-shaped, rugged mobile computer that sets an industry standard for power and performance. The XG4 is designed for comfort and incorporates the world’s most advanced mobile computing technology, including unparalleled processing power, an abundance of memory, and superior scanning technology.
The Janam XG4 is equipped with a 4.3” daylight-readable screen. This multi-touch capacitive screen is made with Gorilla® Glass for durability and easy viewing anywhere. Additionally, the XG4 is sealed to IP65 standards and withstands 7-foot drops to concrete per MIL-STD-810G standard. The XG4 is also Class I Div 2, Groups A, B, C, D, which makes the device compliant for operation in areas where flammable liquids or gases are handled or where explosive vapors may exist.
The XG4 handheld computer can operate in conditions with temperatures ranging from -4 degrees F to 140 degrees F. These safety features provide workers with a reliable, highly rugged mobile computer that will continually operate in various environments. The XG4 is also designed with an integrated Honeywell N6703 1D/2D imager to allow for excellent barcode readability. This handheld computer also includes a 13MP color top-facing autofocus camera which allows for capturing high-quality photos and data collection.
Powered by the Snapdragon™ octa-core processor, the XG4 mobile computer has an extremely fast processing speed to handle all applications the device may need. The XG4 includes 4GB/64GB of memory and stores up to 512GB with a MicroSD card. The XG4 also comes with a removable and rechargeable battery for extended-shift use. In addition, the XG4 has 4G LTE and multiple Wi-Fi connectivity options allowing for fast download speeds and continual operating use even out in the field.
