DT Research has established itself as a leader in rugged computing with its innovative 2-in-1 series of Windows® tablets, combining tablet portability with laptop functionality through detachable keyboards. Built for tough conditions, these devices serve industries such as field services, military, healthcare, logistics, and emergency response, where durability and high performance are crucial.
The lineup includes three screen sizes: 10.1, 11.6, and 13.3-inch models. All operate on Windows® 10/11 IoT Enterprise, ensuring smooth integration with enterprise ecosystems.
DT Research 2-in-1 tablets run on Intel® Core™ or Core™ Ultra (i5/i7) processors to optimize multitasking, with memory and storage options from 8GB to 32GB of RAM and 512GB to 2TB of storage, with some models supporting quick-access SSDs.
Other options include LTE/4G/5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and GNSS for real-time data capture; built-in barcode scanners; RFID/NFC readers; and smart card/CAC slots that streamline workflows. The 2-in-1 Rugged Windows® tablets are Cold Chain-ready or can be configured for temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C (-22°F to 140°F), with a built-in heating element.
All eight DT Research 2-in-1 tablets are certified to MIL-STD-810H for drops, shocks, and vibrations, and IP65 for dust/water resistance. Six of the eight devices are also 461G certified. The DT312RP, DT323RP, DT301YR, and DT311YR are HERO Tested (Hazard of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance Testing). The DT302PA and DT302RP offer an antimicrobial coating.
Sunlight-readable displays (800-1,000 nits) with capacitive touch and glove compatibility ensure outdoor usability, and hot-swappable batteries (up to 61Wh) enable all-day operation without downtime. Built-in barcode scanners, RFID/NFC readers, and smart card/CAC slots streamline workflows.
