Panasonic’s fully-rugged TOUGHBOOK®56 Laptop features six modular areas, including innovative modular expansion packs (xPAK’s) with optical drives, authentication readers, barcode readers, and IO ports—now with new 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps options, a rugged industry first.

The TOUGHBOOK®56 includes the Intel Core™ Ultra 5 or 7 vPro™ processor with a powerful Intel® AI-Boost Series 2 CPU (and optional 8GB dGPU) that makes AI tasks a breeze. There is a FIPS encrypted SSD option, and a 16:10 aspect ratio display designed for mission-critical workers that fits more rows of data without the need for scrolling. DDR5 memory, louder speakers, dual microphones, up to 24 hours of battery life, and a faster seamless 5G modem option that supports more wireless carriers.

The TOUGHBOOK®56 also has WI-FI 7, Bluetooth® v5.1 (Class 1), optional GPS, and is MIL-STD-810H and IP53 compliant.

Panasonic’s fully-rugged TOUGHBOOK®40 Laptop is the first AI-enabled TOUGHBOOK with a dedicated NPU, supporting up to 64GB of RAM, up to 4TB of storage, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth® v5.3, with 4G and 5G Sub6 + C-band with speeds up to 4.1Gbps.

The TOUGHBOOK®40 Rugged Laptop offers all-day battery life, four microphones, a color-selectable backlit keyboard, 95dB speakers, and a choice of two cellular modems.
