The Bartec BCS3600ex IS is an ultra-rugged and intrinsically safe scanner. It’s available in a corded (BCS3608ex-IS) or cordless Bluetooth® (BCS3678ex-IS) configuration, offering flexibility to users depending on their needs. These scanners are ATEX/IECEx/UKEX Zone 1/21, allowing them to operate in hazardous areas. The Bluetooth (v4.0) BCS3678ex-IS hand-held scanner is also approved for Class I, II, III Division 1.

The Bartec BCS3600ex IS is built to perform across a range of temperatures from -4 °F to 122 °F and survive up to 7,500 tumbles from one meter. The IP65 rating certifies that the scanner is fully sealed against dust ingress and protected from low-pressure water directed from any angle.

This rugged scanner reads 1D and 2D barcodes, and OCR barcodes, from 3 to 70 ft away using Zebra’s high-performance SE4750 scan engine. Zebra’s 123 scan utility and Scanner Management System (SMS) makes it easy to program and pair with any mobile terminal.
