Glacier Computer designs, manufactures and supports industrial computer systems for a variety of applications. Solutions range from a small form factor Windows CE device to a powerful XP Pro, or Linux 15” configuration. Common industrial, data collection applications include factory floor, warehouse, freight terminal, military, and field service. Each industrial computer is designed to withstand the rigors commonly experienced in harsh environments including extremes of dust, water, temperature, vibration, and shock.

Glacier industrial computer systems can be placed throughout the workplace, both indoors and out. Connections back to corporate servers are achieved via hard wired on board Ethernet as well as integrated 802.11 a/b/g wireless. Installing Glacier hardware onto any of the industrial computer systems is a key component to establishing distributed computing in companies traditionally challenged by the installation of computers in hostile areas. Efficiency gains, productivity measurements, and inventory accuracies are all byproducts of Glacier industrial computers.
